Dwarf black cranesbill

Geranium sessiliflorum subsp novae-zelandiae 'Nigricans', to give it its full name, is native to the alpine meadows of New Zealand. It has attractive uniformly bronze foliage and white flowers from June to September.

Our advice: If the pathways in your garden are a bit austere, add a touch of whimsy with the unusual foliage of Geranium sessiliflorum 'Nigricans' which will reseed freely. Planted at regular intervals, this dwarf cranesbill will create a trail to guide your visitors along a path.

This rockery plant likes a sunny spot and well-drained, ordinary soil. Re-seeds itself. Spreads out to 20 cm. Height: 10 cm
