Lilium formosanum var pricei is a dwarf form of the Formosa lily, native to the island of Taiwan (formerly known as Formosa).
This is a hardy, botanical lily that is easy to grow. From August until the end of October it produces gracious, white trumpet flowers, 15 to 20 cm long, with deep violet markings on the outside.
For rockeries, troughs, or alpine greenhouse.
Height of the floral stems: up to 60 cm. Grow in the sun or light shade in good garden soil. In regions with harsh winters, winter mulching is advisable.
Lilium formosanum var pricei is an ephemeral perennial with a lifespan of two to three years.
But don't be sad! It will naturally re-seed in your garden. I’m sure of it!
