Sabline, sandwort

The Arenaria genus has nearly one hundred and fifty species of plants from Northern Hemisphere alpine rockeries.

Arenaria ledebouriana, native to western Asia, is a miniature plant that looks like a mini conifer with a dense cushion of bluish-grey needle leaves. Abundant white flowers from May to July.

An alpine rockery plant which should be grown in the sun or in partial shade in a very light and well-drained sandy soil.

Given its diminutive size, it's perfect for growing in a trough or on a gravel bed. Height: 10/15 cm
