Description :

Vegetable Sheep or New Zealand Scab Plant

Native to rocky scree slopes in New Zealand, Raoulia australis is a sure-fire success in an alpine rockery. Raoulia australis forms a dense, tidy may all year round and has a diaphanous silvery colouring.

Height: 1 cm. Spread: 50 cm. Grow in fertile, moist, gravelly soil. Raoulia australis needs to be protected from scorching sun and too much damp in winter. Can be grown in troughs.

Note: the plant is presented here in combination (involuntary!) with Sedum rubrotinctum
